Can genital shingles cause impotance even after healing? Is it permanent?

Ask your health care provider. Never heard of genital shingles ever.

I have heard of genital shingles. I think it's unlikely that the impotence you're expreiencing will last after the shingles goes away, unless severe damage was done.

Shingles will stay in your body and in that sense is "permanent," but you may never have another outbreak. :)
