The house drain field for the septic system is slow, other than a new field what options are there?

Can you be more specific other than just slow, are you backing up? When was it last pumped and inspected?

It may be couple of things...

1. Drain holes are obstructed with dirt
2. Over saturated ground

Was it always that way ? Did you add additional bathroom to your house ? Do you have more people living in the house than before the problem started ?
