Hi, I have bought 4 rose bushes from Michigan Bulb. When the roses arrived the weather wasn't permittable to plant them. I received them a week ago. It is still too cold to plant them in the ground. I have been soaking them in a 5 gallon bucket of water with a little mirracle grow mixed in the water. Two of the rose bushes are H-T Candy Stripe and the other 2 are Blaze,Show Garden climbing roses. I live in Ohio. We are still expecting some snow here and the roses are still soaking in the 5 gallon bucket. The roses are bare root form. The roses had very little sprouts of leaves on them when I started soaking them. They are now sprouting all over with newer sprouts of new leaves.
My question here is how long can I soak them? I am afraid of killing my new rose bushes.
If you have any suggestions please let me know.
