I bought 2 jl audio w1v2 subwoofers with a jl audio e2150 amplifier, I hooked everything up and the amp was working but the subs wouldn't work. I need help!

These are car audio components. How do you know the amp is working? How do you know the subs aren't working?

Are you feeding the amp a proper audio signal? Less than 80Hz for example.

Subwoofers have limited frequency response, so feeding a full-range signal will give you very-very low sound volume. Check if the High-pass or low-pass filter are set correctly.

Are your subs wired up with correct polarity? Also make sure the speaker impedance matches the amplifier's capabilities.

Do you have other speakers you could try in place of the Jl's to make certain the amp is working correctly. Also can you tell us how they are wired to the amp?
