NY state Resident work in New Jersey
    Nothing like procrastination!

I thank anyone who takes time out of their day to help me.
My fiancé lives in New York State but works in New Jersey how would I go about filing state taxes for her?what forms would I use?

Can I just use a credit form for NJ state taxes paid for my New York state taxes?

Again thank you in advance for taking time out of your day to help me

She needs to file tax returns in BOTH NJ and NY.

Yes, she can claim a credit for NJ taxes paid against her NY tax liability.
