No hot water comes out of faucet.
When I turhn the cold water side on, the hot water will come out when I
Tuyrn the hot side on.

I can thrn turn the cold side off and the hot will continue flowing and I can then shut off the hot water side...


So somehow... hot only works when cold side on??

Is the hot coming through the cold side? Somehow.. something clogged in faucet ?

Just one faucet in the whole house (and is it a single family house)?
What type of water heater do you have?
How far is this faucet from the water main and the water heater?

The real plumbers will be here later, I hope (it is midday of a big holiday), so I'm just trying to anticipate their possible questions.

You have to give us more info, before we will be able to give you answer: Is it Single handle faucet ? Two handle faucet ? Kitchen faucet ? Shower faucet ? Tub faucet ? What brand of faucet is it ? Perhaps, you can post a pic of it for us to see ?
