    Replying to emails
I am using Outlook 2002 as my email program and I would like to send replies by typing "my replies" directly under the questions/concerns the sender has. I know at one time you would open the message... go to the end of the line and hit enter. That would put your signature there in a different color and you can type your message. It does not seem to be working... any suggestions? Thanks

When you select Reply in Outlook, it opens a new message window and pastes the text of the message you were reading into the new message. Generally people type at the top so the reader doesn't have to scroll down to see the new text.

As for a different color, you would probably need to be in HTML mode for that.

    Reply to email
    Hi,
You must click on Reply first, then if you wish, scroll down to the bottom, left click where you wish after the message, and start your reply typing.
That, of course, would then put your message at the bottom, instead of at the top.
Your settings are probably already HTML.
    But, you could check by:
With Outlook open, click on Tools at the top, then click on Options.
Then, click on the Send tab at the top.
Look to the bottom, see if HTML is checked.

    Just for information:
If you wish to add or subtract from an Experts' reputation, or show appreciation or discontent with an answer, click on the "balance scales" icon by the Experts' name. You can then choose what you wish.

    Best wishes,
