With a lennox "I-comfort" thermostat:
If temp is set to Heat to 65 BUT to Cool to 75, both the heat and cooling can turn on during the same day if temp changes enough . What is best thing to do re: toggle valve on duct that can be either set to Heat or Cool? Someone said to leave it in the middle, between Heat and Cool, but I'd like to know for sure.
