My computer is constantly locking up, freezing and not responding. I can be in the middle of searching something on a web site and the little wheel starts spinning and spinning; I use AOL and Google Chrome. Windows 7, AOL Desktop 9.8.2
Would it help this situation if I upgrade Windows to # 10 ?
I am cleaning out junk on a daily basis but does not seem to help.
While in middle of typing on WORD a document... the wheel starts spinning and says "Not Responding". Sometimes I cannot access my AOL E Mails for awhile as it says "Not Responding".

How old is your computer? How powerful is it? CPU? Memory?

Have you done any maintience on it? Virus scan? Malware scan? Have you removed any questionable programs/toolbars/etc from your computer?

Upgrading to win 10 I have found to be a good thing, but I am not it will help this situation.
