I have had a stomach bug since Monday morning. The pharmacy gave me Medazine for the nausea (great) and Adco Loperamide for the diarrohea (useless). What I need to know is - can a stomach bug cause a urinary tract infection (because it now burns when I wee), or is it because of the excess acidity from the bug?

A stomach bug won't cause a UTI, however, improper toileting from the diarrhea can. With improper wiping, assuming you are a woman, feces can get into the urinary tract causing a UTI.
