I have an existing light fixture connected to a dimmer switch and three recessed cannon lights connected to a different switch. I would like to install two pendant lights over my counter bar table but there is no exposed wiring pre-exposed for that. It's closest power source could be the cannon lights but the track lighting ceiling outlet seems easier. Can anyone please help me? I have wired a standard bathroom light fixture before. Some experience.

The first thing you need to determine is where the switches are getting their power from.

There are two ways to feed a switch. You can run the source cable to the switch. You will see White bypassing the switch and Black cut and connected to the top and bottom terminals of the switch.

Or you will find a "Switch Loop". The power id fed to the light fixture's outlet box. From there the loop to the switch is run. The Black supply conductor is connected to the White conductor that will feed the switch. The black conductor from the loop will be connected to the top terminal of the switch and it will connect to the black fixture wire.

Once you figure out where the power sources for these two switches are, then you can determine which light outlet will be used to feed the new light outlet and how you will feed the switch for this light.

Then you need to figure out:
1) How you will the supply cable from the source to the new outlet and switch.
2) What holes need to be cut in ceilings and walls and how to pull you cables from the source to new outlets.
