This is a popular essay topic mainly used for competitive exams and many others such as IELTS. However, my opinion would be that it depends on the game you are playing. There are video games that are meant to improve your brain power. But not all the games.

But the outdoor activities can surely do. People should insist children to spend time more on outdoor activities than indoors. We should also aside the work and involve ourselves in sports and such activities which improve our both mental and physical health.

Conclusion: Some video games may intend to improve our brain caliber but relatively they are not much active as outdoor games are.

    Hope it helps! :)

If we are that much willing to sort the diiferent problems by different ways while playing video games, then we can also imply the same in our daily life.

Can they? Yup. Do they? Probably. I can't say much beyond that.
