    Hi,

    We purchased a house in the Ft. Myers, Fl. Area in April 2010. The house has a combination A/C and furnace that was installed in 2006. We have been very happy with the unit. It is still working.

    We had the unit checked out last week as it has not been checked out since we purchased the house. Now we are being told it needs to be replaced.

    Can someone tell me if this is the time to replace with a more modern Goodman?

    No, you said it works and no problem. Why would you want to replace?
