I have a brown film covering walls. Appliances and just about everything in my small three room home. I have electric baseboard heat with thermostats in each room. Could this film be caused by the heaters and is this dangerous?

Not sure about a brown film. However, there is nothing emitted by an electric heater. Does it clean off?
