Which dies faster? Blinking led or continuous led?
Question is as above, which dies faster? (in terms of life span) blinking led or continuous led? If same led light was being used. (these are low powered red+green=orange led meant to show activeness of a computer without screen, which will have longer life is needed)

There doesn't seem to be any definitive answer to this question as far as a few minutes of surfing will tell...
What you will find out is that the L70 rating (time it takes for the LED light output to be reduced to 70%) is 50,000 to 100,000 hours. And after that, years...

So if there was a 10% difference between the life of an LED and one that was blinking, it would still have a life of 45,000 to 90,000 hours. The equipment the LED has been installed in will likely fail or be obsolete long before that.
Is there a reason why knowing the life span of an LED is critical?
