    Pregnant after missed depo?
I got the depo shot in October I believe at the end of October. And I was supposed to go in on January 26th but I had to work and missed it , I bled on and off for two days starting the day after I missed the shot. The 26th was a Tuesday I bled Wednesday and Thursday. Friday I had unprotected sex and a couple days later a slight brownish sticky clear discharge when I wiped. Since I bled could that mean I could be pregnant that fast after not taking the second shot or would I just have to wait and see.. Its been about 8 days. It would be to early to pick up hcg in a test? I also had a miscarriage in June of 2015. But I have heard that depo stays in your system but I keep reading that everyone is different. What are your opinions?

    Hello

The Pregnancy Hormone hCG can be first detected with a blood test at around 11 days after conception and with a urine test at around 12-14 days after conception.

Anyway a blood test is the best way to go at finding out if you are or not, though yes you will need to wait another week as 8 days is to soon.

Also from what I have read it is possible to get pregnant after a week or so after coming off Depo. It has been said that however long that you were getting the shot may inevitably have something to do with how long it will take you before you become pregnant though it also vary, different people have varied reactions and side effects of stopping a birth control regimen.

Anyway a test is you best answer.

    Hope this helps.
