There was a new girl in my class. She sat right next to me. She would compliment me here and there (ex: saying I was perfect, smart, said I looked cute with my new glasses. She sometimes glanced at me and then tried to initiate conversation. One time, after finishing doing a presentation which we both didn't do that well, when I got home she chatted to me on Facebook to ask if I was all right and tried encourage and compliment me. And one time she was having very bad headache and she looked like she tried to make me notice and when I finally asked if she was all right she was all smiling. All of this happened in a month because that was how long the class lasted and unfortunately she had to dropped out after because she needed to prepare for her big . On the last day she posted on her Facebook saying like 'the hardest things to say were hello for the first time and goodbye for the last time'.

Sorry. She's 17 and she had to prepare for the national exam for finishing her high school. I'm 20, and I'm in university.

You are supposed to ask HER if she likes you or not, at least enough to spend some personal time together. Unless you do, you will never really know will you?

This is what we call "growing a pair", and "man up".

Adults do what they have to do, awkward or not.

So what? If the answer is no.. are you going to sulk and cry in the corner? Or are you going to continue on with your life? She's only 17 and a kid still... you are 20 and supposed to be much more mature. Find a woman your age rather than a 17 year old child.

And yes... there is a HUGE difference between the average 17 year old and the average 20 year old in maturity.

You talk wit her and say what you have to say and deal with whatever answer you get....either way, thats what you will be doing the rest of your natural life. You can't hide from "awkward" or "uncomfortable" situations for long...you always have to face it eventually.

No it wouldn't, that's your fear of rejection talking. Show some courage you big scaredy cat!

No risk, no reward, don't try, don't worry. Seems wandering about what if is a lot more awkward and distracting and a perfect waste of time. Don't you?
