Whenever we use our garbage disposal the water bowl in the toilet empties. What would cause this to happen? And how do we go about correcting it?

Where do you live, could the vent be blocked from snow and ice?

Do you have an AAV (Air Admittance Valve) in the plumbing under the sink?
