I have been on birth control since around November of 2015. One week in December I started noticing small brown spots appearing on my tummy. I scrubbed them thinking maybe it was dirt but it wasn't. I read online it is possibly a side effect from my birth control pills. But id like another opinion. Also, I had my mom take my blood sugar because I was worried it could be diabetes spots but each time she took it my blood sugar was a normal 129-144.

Why did you check your blood sugar? Are you diabetic?

No but I have been tested for it multiple times since I was young. That's why I checked it because I was told when I was younger that I was borderline.

As Birth Control Pills or oral contraceptive pill, commonly referred to as "the pill," is a form of hormonal contraception then yes it is possible that these brown spots are being caused by it.

I Though would go and see a medical expert / Doctor for an examination of the brown spots as that would give you a definite answer than someone posting here.
