My sister is currently on probation in WI for a drug charge. She was put in jail on Tues. for a probation hold for suspition of delivering narcotics. They have not officially charged her, they are still invetigating it. By Law how long can they keep her in jail??

Since she is on probation I think as long as they want. Call a Lawyer.

My fiancé is on probation, and just received a new charge for something I know that she is innocent for, but this screwed up government that screws up everyone's life decided they would put a hold on her when she turned herself in, which she did because she is innocent. But anyway, when a probation officer puts a hold on you, your life is in there hands from then on out. Its totally and completely on the probation officer to lift the hold.
