My glacier bay toilet made funny noieses the last couple of flushes now it will not fill at all what happened

Are you referring to the bowl or to the tank?

Not sure of the correct terminology but if the bowl is not filling, the small tube in the tank is not connected to the stand pipe and the water that is supposed to fill the bowl is flowing into the tank. If the tank is not filling it could be the flush handle arm chain is not releasing properly and should be adjusted. I had one that sometimes would not release completely and it only filled about a couple inches of water. I had to take up a couple links to get it right.
