Induced siphonage in kitchen sink when condensate pipe runs
    Hi,

We are in a new build apartment and we have loud gurgling sounds coming from the kitchen sink during the day/night and when no appliances are running. From what I've read it appears to be induced siphonage.

We have noticed though, that it tends to happen when liquid is running through the condensate pipe from the boiler.

Does anyone know what the potential problem may be?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Stuart.

    Hi Stuart

Is there an apartment/unit above your apartment?

    Do you have a disposal?

    Do you have a dishwasher?

Where, in relation to the sink, does the condensate drain connect to the drainage system?

    Back to you...
