    No period after D&C
Hi.. I am 24 years old, being married for 1 year now. I got pregnant in July 2015 and in 6 weeks I had an naturally incomplete abortion, My Gync got my D&C done on the evening of Aug 17, 2015. I had heavy bleeding until the 18th August morning and then it stopped. It's 4 months since my D&C and I haven't had a regular or a normal period.. I just have lite brown kind of spotting (a drop or 2) for like 3 to 5 days these months. I was worried I visited my Gync on 3rd dec 2015 and she did some scans and said I was perfectly good and asked to wait😔 I have been waiting and did a pregnancy test last morning. It should negative.

Why is my period late. Will I be able to conceive even without my menses coming back..

    Please help

A d&c is a an intrusive procedure and It ended a pregnancy. Your body is going to be healing itself so it will take some time. If your doctor said that you're fine and to wait, then wait because everyuthing is fine.

While most women will have had regular periods return by this time, some may not. You were wise to visit your doctor to have things checked... however, if you still are not having regular periods after a few more cycles, you may want to return for further evaluation. Sometimes, certain conditions may cause a lack of periods, and medication or another procedure may be used to help get your cycles back on track.

In the meantime, yes, you could possibly become pregnant before seeing your normal periods return. Even though you are only spotting, it may be that your fertility has returned. You may want to try a pregnancy test each month until you either become pregnant or see your periods return.
