I've been using IE. For a long time. Suddenly it stops working completely just says its stopped working. Fyi. I downloaded windows 10 about 2 weeks ago, and never had any problem with IE. I'm not sure what IE version is as I cant get on IE long enough to check.

IE has been full of holes for years and the newer version on Windows 10, known as Edge, isn't any different.

That's probably your answer. Windows 10 shut down IE and turned on Edge. I wouldn't put it past MS to do something like that. He's right get used to using a different browser. But if you insist look here: How to find Internet Explorer in Windows 10 if you really need it | Windows Central

Also check for viruses and spamware. I have seen quite a few lately that have picked up a bug or two and it shuts it down.
