The pilot light will light but when I switch the gas valve to on it goes out. I replaced the thermocouple already. Thanks

Make sure that the thermocouple is in the flame. Make sure that you have a good connection where the thermocouple screws into the gas valve. Make sure that you are holding the button down long enough.
