Need help with burning firing.. I recently had the burner serviced.. and they tech said to make sure you keep the inlet clear of dust.. well I recently did some wood working in the basement.. and had saw dust everywhere.. after that the red light on the burner turns on when the burning is firing after 30 seconds or so.. so shut the system down and I blew out the inlets with some compressed air and there was a good amount of dust that flew out. If I shut off the switch it will fire for a cycle or two and then the red light will come back on.. well I left the house today came back tonight and the red light was on.. so I shut the switch off and turned it back on and it fired up.. and then after about 30 seconds or so it turned off and red light.. I shut the system off.. I did that twice or so and now there is a red and amber light.. I think I might have flooded the system.. but how can I fix it so the red light will not come on ? There is just under 3/4 of a tank of oil

I'm no heating expert, but assume they are all resting all snug in their beds.
WHY, WHY, did you allow sawdust all over your boiler? Do you want to burn your house down? Do you like to ignore instructions, take risks, and then ask for help online?
Put in a call to the answering machine of your oil company for another visit. I don't think you should be working on the safety switch.

And ask your town building inspector for the minimum dimensions of a room for a boiler. Then build it, and keep it clean.

Do you have a diagnostic guide for your system? A manual? What do the red and amber lights mean? You cleaned your inlets... but what feeds your inlets (inline fuel filters)? What did you do about the condition you had at the beginning of October (8th)? Did you change the fuel gauge or verify the fuel level? Did you wrap the electric components as was recommended before this building project?

Make and model please so it can be looked up, troubleshot, and diagnosed. Certainly sounds fuel starved for whatever reason but that's only an assumption.

Being the holiday weekend I think/hope your tech has an emergency number, or there is an emergency number for any local tech to help you out.
