I didn't know what to do with 1099-G when I got it in 2005 so I held it with me. Secondly I receive the 1099-G for 2006 . What is the best possible way to disclose this state tax to the fedral and where and how can I do it.

If you did NOT itemize your deductions in 2005, you can ignore the Form 1099-G if it is for the state income tax refund you got on your 205 state income tax return.
