    IUD question
Hi, my question is about my IUD Paraguard. I had sex this morning and while I was in the shower I was able to feel the actual plastic part of the IUD. And I was able to feel it still throughout the day. I made the mistake of having sex tonight and I checked to see if I could still feel it, but the only thin I could feel were the string.. should I be worried?

You should not have sex again, till you have it checked by the doctor.

Since it apparently slipped, you have an increased chance for pregnancy. As Fr_Chuck stated, see your doctor to have it checked.

Do you think since I can't feel the plastic anymore except for the strings that it could be back in place?

If it has shifted position, you'll need to have it checked to make sure that it is properly placed. If it isn't where it should be, you have the risk of pregnancy, but also experiencing some potential injury.

Unfortunately, the only way to know for certain if it is placed correctly, even though you can now feel just the strings, would be to see your doctor.
