Hi I'm new here let me introduce myself. I'm a girl and I'm 15 years old but I'm turning 16 in 2 months. My question is that I wanted to know if I'm growing normally and all that.

I started puberty when I was 13 was when my breasts began to bud. I didn't get my first training bra until I was 14 even though most girls would get one when they are 10.

Then, that was it. Nothing happened for another year until I was 14 that is when I began having discharge and I expected my period to come on 6 months or so but that never happened.

I started growing armpit hair at 15 about 4-6 months later I started having pubic hair.

And that was it. So am I developing normally?
I'm almost 16 I still haven't had my period yet even though I've been having discharge for nearly 2 years now. I don't even have boobs I still have breast buds since I was 13 and they never grown at all. I still wear training bras and I'm 16. Help?

Have you talked with your doctor about all this? In my class, girls started developing at eleven or so, and some didn't start until sixteen. A lot depends on your genes. Have you talked with your mom about when she started puberty, etc.?

Yes my mom started her period when she was 14 so she was late compared to most but she wasn't that late. And no I've never went to the doctor about this.
Also should I be worried as of now?

Worried? No. But a baseline exam and talk with your doctor would relieve your mind.

If its any consolation of ever female I've known my whole life, its only the late bloomers that have maintained the most beauty throughout their adulthood. And the early bloomers that lost it earliest.

I have considered going to the doctor just that we are still in the process in searching for a family doctor.

Girls your age worry and obsess over their friends who develop before they do. But in a few short years... most of the girls who develop early will be losing their looks while the late bloomers blossom and will maintain their good looks far longer.

Almost all the best looking girls at 15 and 16 lost their looks by 30, the ones that developed later most of them are still stunning past 50.

He means the later you reach puberty and develop, the longer you will last past those who bloomed early and are shriveling up and sagging -- and you will still be in your prime.

I agree, nothing to worry about, but how hard is it to find a family doctor, I assume your insurance only allows certain doctors, some are not taking new patients, sounds like something mom or dad needs to get done in one or two days.
