    Beta levels
I had an ultrasound an ultra sound last week and it said I was 6weeks without a heart beat. I had my betas checked the first numbers were in the 30000 then the next one was 23000. I don't have any cramping or bleeding I want to know if I am pregnant or am I going to lose the baby?

How far apart were the blood tests taken? Were they done at the same facility? Obviously a rise in hcg levels would be expected, even a slow rise. Generally a falling level would be cause for concern and further monitoring. At six weeks it is not unusual to not see the heart beat just yet. A matter of days can make all of the difference in what is seen.

What did your doctor have to say? Are you scheduled for another ultrasound in about a week or so?

Several things, first 6 weeks is normally an estimate (from ultrasound) that is give or take a week. At this early date, they may not see a heart beat, or it may just be missed.

No one online with this limited data predict a medical outcome. Is there more reasons your doctor would believe you may lose the baby?
