I recently purchased a copy of "Blue Boy" by Gainsborough matted and framed by Edward Gross Co. Inc. New York. The frame appears to be old and was put together by square nails in a beautiful old frame. It has penciled name of "Blue Boy" and "Gainsborough" on the picture above the matting. Do you know what this picture is worth? Do you know when it might have been matted?
