Does the light come on when the door is opened?
If not, check to be sure it's plugged in, and that the breaker is not tripped.

If you're sure the power is good, it could be anything from a simple burnt wire to a bad motor or more.

Yes, does it light up? Checked breaker? There are so many things. No power, bad compressor, overload tripped a safety switch, no Freon, bad circuit board. Unless you can trouble shoot it yourself, have a tech look at it. If it is more than 10-15 years old, replace it and let the replacement company haul the old one away.

Have you washed out the coils under it? If the coils are dirty it will not cool and will burn up the compressor.
