    ETG after drinking 1.5 drinks
I had 2 drinks last night 3.2% each, the last one at 6:30pm, and I have an EGT test today at 5:00pm. I'm 110lbs, female. Will I pass?

Are the tests random, or did you know this one was scheduled? Is the rule no drinking at all?

Unfortunately, it's fairly subjective as to how a person's body metabolizes alcohol. Don't try to flush with lots of liquids since that would probably cause a fail for dilution.

If you are in healthcare or Public transportation... (or a truck driver) they are going to take this pretty seriously. If you stock shelves in a warehouse... not so much.

Totally random, I had no idea about them, HR just told me. Correct, the rule is no drinking at all, I was also just informed about this as well.

I know it's fairly subjective, but what do you think my chances are of passing?

It'll be only 24 hours. Very iffy. What will happen if you don't pass? Will you be able to plead ignorance of the rule, or is it stated in a company policy manual you were supposed to memorize? Please, please post here what happens!

I'm hoping I can play ignorance. Guess we will see what happens. I am also hoping since I'm small and really didn't drink that much, my system will be clear.

Best wishes! And now you know, so you also know what not to do in the future. Will be waiting to find out.

Actually the converse may be true. EtOH metabolism, and subseqenly EtG, is limited to your liver enzymes and that varies from person to person, it makes no difference on BMI.

I can concerned over where and how a company can tell someone, they can not drink at all. If you drink after work on your own time, even police and other jobs can drink.

The cut off is pretty good, many have a cut off 100. So it looks like they are giving you a good cushion.

My issue is that it will show up, but if it will be 200, 400 or 600 is what is not known.

    Let us know after.
