Hi, I have been thinking about getting a cartilage/helix piercing for a while, but there's one problem.
I know keloids on cartilage piercings are a big issue for some people. I am of African descent and consequently dark skinned. My mum suffers from keloid scarring, and my aunty used to have a cartilage piercing but developed a small keloid as a results. For me, however, I don't suffer from keloids however, but as you can see a few family members do. Is it worth getting one with this risk?

Since they have no value at all, they are not worth any risk.
