I'm 13 and my dad punched the wall 3 times and keeps yelling punched me in the arm and pushed my mom pushed my brothers head into the side of the wall and I just don't feel safe anymore and this has been happening for years and I wanted to know if my friends parents can adopt me without my parents approval.

Simple answer. NO!

As noted, No they can't. They can get in trouble for parental interference if they try.

If you fear for your safety talk to a teacher or guidance counselor at your school.

NO, this can be reported to children's services, or the child welfare office, and they will send a case worker to investigate. As your mom can file charges for assault against your father.

If the case worker finds enough evidence, they could require your father to take anger management treatment, make your mother and father take parenting classes. Or remove you from the home temporary while your parents get things worked out.

Adoption would be very rare in this case. If your mother and father would sign over rights to allow the adoption, and agree to pay child support, then they may allow an adoption, but even then there are other factors.
