I recently went on vacation to California and slipped the last couple days I was there. I tested 79 hours after my last drink, but I know there is a period that ETG is still producing in your system.

I had 10 drinks on Friday between 3pm and 1am (mostly wine), and another 10 on Saturday between noon and 1am (again, mostly wine). I know it's an 80 hour test, but I've heard from some sources that its less --- and/or more?

I am female in her early 40's, 136 pounds, in fairly good health.

Do you think it's possible to pass the test? This is putting so much stress on me - I will never do this again. I haven't slept in three days and am having anxiety attacks. Definitely not worth a couple fun days with my friends.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Sure its possible to pass... but its also possible to fail. But you knew that when you chose to drink despite being subject to testing.

What do you have to lose if you fail, Was it worth it if you do?

Of course you will do it again, esp if you pass. At 79 hours there is a good chance of passing

I can promise you that I will NOT do this again. I've learned my lesson due to the stress I'm under right now. It's 79 hours from my last drink, but only 72 hours if you take approximately 8 hours off to get back to BAC 0. I've heard that the 80 hours is usually for chronic drinkers --- and I hadn't had anything to drink for 9 months prior to this. Looking back, I could have had just as much fun without drinking. I slipped -- and I don't think anyone understands just how low I am right now.

Some people will fail after 80 hours... Not all will pass. Its all about averages... and some people are less average than they think. No one size fits all answer on this topic.
