5 beers wed night, get tested next Wednesday afternoon?
DrBill100 will I pass the EtG test if I drank 5 beers this Wednesday night and I get tested next Wednesday? I can test at 3 oclock Wednesday or 4... it is optional for me as I am required to go to a group and can do it before or after. I am freaking out... I won't do this again... I hope... I am 5'8 and 200 lbs approximately... god I am an idoit... the stress is killing me... I suppose I will drink lots of water... not much into exercise... I usually watch a lot of TV and sit around but if you think I should start exercising then I will

Dr Bill is not answering questions here right now. But after one week you will be safe. It may show evidence of drinking, but it should be within the passing zone.

Remember the biggest fear is not really the testing, but friends or others that know of your drinking, calling and telling the PO or agency. When I was a PO (for a short time) most of the people I caught was from posting on social media, to ex girlfriends calling in, to friends who got angry calling.

How old are you? Getting help to deal with your issues, and break that isolation, and get support would be a good idea to help deal with your self inflicted stress.

Don't drink and you won't have to worry. It really is that simple.

I think its pretty dumb to give anyone a week to report for "random testing".

I think it should be 24 hours... 48 hours at most. If you can't abstain until you no longer have to comly with random testing... then you have a problem and help is out there for it VIA AA or other programs.

Could you clarify something for me? Since you are a former po I trust what you are saying and regard your advice as solid but something concerns me... when you say "It may show evidence of drinking" isn't that enough to screw me right there though... I mean... I am court ordered to not drink AT ALL, even a sip (ANY ALCOHOL) I would think would be enough to send me to jail (for a long miserable time).

If all your tests fall into the legal level limit of incidental contact, no judge will send you to jail.
