Check engine light just went on today and the engine shakes then on my 2001 Toyota Echo the engine has one rear pin that goes in the tranny it idles, and then the idling peaks and the car shakes

Have the codes checked to see what DTC has stored. Inspect the engine/trans mounts. Let us know what is found. Good luck.
