Can we lay vitrified tiles on existing marble flooring
Hi ,I am planning to remove a partition wall between kitchen and dinning room. The flooring in these two rooms is different,so I want to know if I can go for laying vitrified tiles on existing marble flooring without removing marble.

I would not put tile on marble but there are other options like engineered wood flooring and laminates

Actually... you can certainly bond new tiles over marble (or any ceramic/porcelain), but there's several "if's". Need to know much more starting with the type of subfloor and how it's built. Pics are helpful too.
