I am 28 years old, unmarried. I got chicken pox last month i.e. 10th July. My last periods was on the 5th of July, 2015. This month I did not get my periods.
My menstural starting dates:
March - 5th
April - 3rd
May - 6th
June - 7th
July - 5th
Can chicken pox delay my periods? I got rashes even in my genital parts too. In the month of March, my fiancée just touched my vagina with his hand but we did not have intercourse. Is it possible to be pregnant from that? That was the first and last time we did that. Since then nothing. I took urine pregnancy tests a week before and today also. They are negative. Kindly tell me why my periods is delayed?

IF you got touched in march your periods for April, may, June, and July wouldn't have happened. Illness can delay periods, or you could just be having a wonky period. It is hard to say. You'll get back on tract soon. I would suggest that you go to your doctor and talk about birthcontrol if you're going to engage in sexual activity.

Thank you. Bcoz I am worried if it is possible to be pregnant and get periods also. Since March I am having my regular monthly periods. Only this month it is late. I took 4 home pregnancy tests which came out negative. I was tensed bcoz if that is the case I must be 4 months pregnant by now

No. I am almost absolutely certain your not pregnant, this is just a wonky period. You're fine.

You can't be pregnant from something that happened in March if you got periods afterwards. March is 5 months ago, if you were pregnant for 5 months, the test wouldn't have been negative.

Stress can delay a menstruation. But I advice you to see a doctor, to put your mind at ease and make sure that this is nothing serious if you don't have your period by the end of the month.

And please also start on birth control, so that you don't get freaked out like this anymore.
