I saw this french movie almost from the end, there was an adolescent that went to a train station because his father was going to abandoned his family on his birthday (the father's birthday), but his father left them anyway so the guy returned to his home. I'm not sure if his mother dies after that. At the end, he appears as an adult man in a cemetery an goes out with his bike.
