Cant see the "set screw" in my slip on bathtub spout?
So I've been trying to replace one of the bathtub spouts that came with the house we had recently moved into.
I can tell it's supposed to have a screw from the hole on the bottom of the spout, but I can't get to the screw.
I know there is a screw, but the wrench can't reach it because it's not lined up with the hole.
Anyone have any ideas how to get the spout off?

You are using an Allen wrench? If all else fails, since you are going to replace, carefully cut around the perimeter with a hack saw and break off the pieces.
