Water supply from a rainwater tank & taps
Our water supply comes from a rainwater tank.
Do we have to have special taps to prevent the taps dripping because of a build-up of grit?

    Hi Barbiedoll1960

Nope, there are no special taps, however, if possible, installing a WHOLE HOUSE SEDIMENT FILTER on the cold water supply into the home may act to catch the majority of grit to all fixtures.

    Questions? Let me know, OK?

Yep! Whole house filter, 10-20 micron or so. If you have a lot of grit, anything smaller will plug up quickly. I would also use 1/4 turn ball valves when possible.
