    It depends on the specific unit, but in most cases there is a VERY small nut up tight against the bottom of the faucet... take a flashlight and look up under the faucet... should be a U-shaped washer and then a small nut. A DEEP socket may remove it, or worst case, you'll actually need to contact MOEN for a faucet wrench... 1800BUYMOEN... CALL AND THEy will send wrench at no cost to you!

    Why are you removing the unit? These faucets usually carry a lifetime warranty.
