Can I evict my mother in law even though my wife wants her to stay with us

I moved this from the Marriage forum because its is primarily a legal question. But the answer depends on who owns the home (or if a rental who is on the lease). If the home is in both you and your wife's name, then both of you need to sign off on any eviction. If it is only in your name, then yes you can process an eviction.

But there is a non legal issue here. If the home is only in your name, you can process an eviction, but, if you do, what do you think that will do to your marriage?
