Assalamualaikum , Brother / sister... I need your help to save our marriage . Please guide me how to convince my husband that what are guidelines given by Allah for wife's and husbands . Because he is misguided by his own parents so its very difficult to make him realize that , they don't know that lying is sin and they are creating a lot of misunderstanding between us. I have been though depression until was treated and my psychologist told me to forget him and move on in life but honestly in my heart I believe this marriage can be saved... Right from not to lie till rights of wife her privacy in inlaws and he not even knows that dowry is not allowed ,and much more.His parents are misleading him because of it we are suffering . Please help to reunite us . I want to spend my life with him happyly here on earth and there after Inshallah .Please help . Thank you ,

If your husband is listening to his family over his wife, then there might be problems here that can't be fixed. I am assuming that talking to him has helped and that he's not understanding what and why you're saying what you are. A first step I would talk to your Imam and ask if he might be able to help you two out. A meeting and clarification of what the responsibilities of a man and wife from your Imam might snap him out of this. IF that fails, maybe a couples psychologist. Get him and yourself in the room to work this out.

Also realize that there is a point where you can do no more and you just have to leave. Love isn't enough and that won't keep a couple together.

I agree with CravenMorhead, your Imam may be the best choice if you have any, good luck.
