How to connect to copper pipes in screed
I'm connecting a radiator into copper pipes sunk into screed.

    1) As the pipes don't move what is the best way to T into these pipes?

    2) The pipes are not sheathed and are embedded in what looks like some special 'screed' and are running parallel almost touching. What is this 'screed' and is it still available? Alternatively what is the best way to ensure that the pipes don't corrode.

    Many thanks

Without a picture, I am assuming you are calling the plaster bed a "screed". Yes? Must be a fairly old house. Try to post a picture so we have a clearer picture.
