We have had considerable amounts of rain for the last month. I am worried that this may be the reason my tub water is going down very slow today. Also our 2 toilets are sometimes slow. Are all these drains connected to the same drain? I haven't used liquid plumber in a long time, would it help if I poured some in the bath tub drain? I think I should. Its very slow Any help would appreciated, thanks.

That will have nothing to do with the drainage unless you are on a septic system.

Most likely you have a blockage or a partial blockage in the main drain line. You need to snake the line. Liquid Plumber ain't going to do it.

So we should snake the bathtub or the toilet?

Snake the toilet. You may or may not have to also snake the tub, but snake toilet first..

I will do that, but for now I took the bath tub apart and cleaned the elements and the water is going down now. But I will either plunge the toilet when needed. Thank you.

I have a slow moving drain in my bathtub. My other bathtub and drains work fine. It does take a bit of water before the water accumulates so was thinking it was farther than the trap. I have tried plugging the drain and using a plunger on the over flow and get a gurgling sound. When I have plugged the over flow and plug the drain I don't get the gurgle. Have used a wire to pull out hair that can be reached. Any ideas??

Try running a small snake down the overflow. Plunging a bath tub won't help if the blockage is after the trap because the vent is shortly beyond the trap.
