My cycle normally is about 23 days average. My last period was 28/05/15, and I still have not got my period yet. I took a test 2 days ago and it said it was negative. I have a few symptons such as light headedness and headaches. When should I take another home pregnancy test and if it still says negative, what are my next steps?

You should wait, till you are at least 14 days late, and consider that your cycle is average 23 days, so at times it would be longer.

After 14 days late, test using first urine of the day, as soon as you wake up. (for best results) ** you can take another test now, if you last test was not morning.

If that test if negative, test each week, and wait till your next cycle is due. At that point you would see your doctor for clarification.

It is common not to have any signs at all, till you miss a cycle. But also some women at times are very late, or even miss a cycle, due to all sorts of reasons, including change of life style, stress, change of diet and many more
