We've hired a contractor for building the exterior side of a wall at our house and the contractor's plan/stages left to do are:

• Plastering
• Use marble dust (not sure if the translation is correct)
• Wait for some period
• Rub the wall
• Use primer/Priming
• Painting

The question is, how much time should we wait for the best result?
I've heard some opinions, some say just a few days, someone said wait for a year (to let the wall for 1-2 more months in summer to get dry, then let the winter pass which usually we have only raining and then at the next summer to proceed with the rest stages).
Would it be okay to let the wall through the winter with raining and wait for the next year?
What's your opinion?

Plaster is a cement product and continues to cure for years. When you can paint depends on the temperature and how well the plaster was hydrated. In some cases you have to fog plaster if it is hot and the humidity is low. That being said it is best to wait two days before you prime with a well watered primer.

Is it okay to wait a few more days just to be sure?

Sorry, been gone for a bit. You can wait as long as you like but test the plaster/stucco before priming. Spritz some water on the stucco to see if it sucks right into the material. If the water immediately soaks in then thin your primer quite a bit.
